Texas Bird Breeders and Fanciers Association is one of the oldest bird clubs in Texas. The main purpose of the club is to have an all bird show each fall in early November. The club has spring and fall fairs that feature birds and bird related products for sale. These two events generate the funds needed to put on a show each fall.
TBBFA believes that bird shows are an excellent way to educate breeders and pet owners about the desired qualities of the species of birds kept in aviculture. Bird shows allow people to learn more about the birds they enjoy keeping. Exhibitors of all ages are welcome and TBBFA members will help you get started if you are new to bird shows. And you may even make a few new friends along the way!
Our vendors are critical to the success of our fairs. Temple is centrally located in the heart of Texas and provides a market that is not flooded with bird events. We have visitors from all around the state and the local community.
